Apple has announced the prices for all storage variants of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max for India.

In India, the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro is ₹1,64,900 (256GB), while the base model of the iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available for ₹1,79,900 (256GB). Both phones will also be available in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage options.

Pre-orders for these models will start on September 12, and sales will commence on September 18. The phones will be available in Black, Silver, Glacier, and a new Burgundy color.
Stunning Display and New Design
Apple has also made several improvements in terms of display and design.
6.3 and 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR Screens
The iPhone 18 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the Pro Max model has a larger 6.9-inch screen. Both displays support ProMotion technology, which provides an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Smaller and Better Dynamic Island
This time, Apple has also reduced the size of the Dynamic Island. The company claims that the new Dynamic Island will be more useful and take up less space on the screen. As for the design, the phone retains its unibody design, and the frame is matched to the color of the phone.
A20 Pro Chip: The Most Powerful Processor Yet
In terms of performance, both phones are equipped with the new A20 Pro chip.
Up to 20% Better Performance
According to Apple, this is its most capable iPhone processor to date, offering up to 20% better performance than the previous generation. The chip features a 6-core CPU (2 performance cores + 4 efficiency cores), a 7-core GPU, and a dual 16-core Neural Engine.
Specialized for Gaming and AI
Each core of the GPU has neural accelerators, which are expected to deliver excellent performance in gaming and AI-related tasks.
New Vapor Chamber Cooling System
To keep the phone cool, Apple has also included a new-generation vapor chamber, which is larger than the previous model's. It dissipates heat more effectively, maintaining stable performance even during prolonged heavy tasks.
Major Upgrade in the Camera System
The camera is one of the biggest attractions of the iPhone 18 Pro series this time.
48MP Main Camera with Variable Aperture
Both models have a 48-megapixel Fusion camera system. Notably, a variable aperture has been used in the main camera for the first time. This feature can adjust the aperture according to the light, allowing for better low-light photos and more control over the depth of field.
Ultra-Wide and Telephoto Lenses
In addition to the main camera, it also has a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and a 48MP Fusion Telephoto camera. The telephoto camera supports 4x optical zoom and up to 8x optical-quality zoom, while the digital zoom goes up to 40x.

Apple has also included Pro Controls in the camera app, allowing users to manually control settings like aperture, shutter speed, and white balance.

For selfies and video calling, the phone has an 18MP Center Stage front camera. It comes with the Center Stage feature, which keeps the user in the frame during video calls. This camera also supports 4K Dolby Vision video recording.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max is touted as the iPhone with the longest battery life ever. The company claims it can provide up to 45 hours of video playback. Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro will offer up to 36 hours of video playback.
Fast Charging Support
Regarding charging, the iPhone 18 Pro can be charged up to 50% in about 15 minutes with a wired charger, while it takes about 30 minutes with wireless charging.
iOS 27 and the New Siri AI
Both models come with the latest iOS 27, which integrates the new Siri AI with Apple Intelligence. The new Siri is now more personal and conversational. It can understand the user's context to provide answers and can also perform tasks within apps.
