The two-day Reforms Utsav and Chintan Shivir, organized by the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, at the Gyan Sarovar of Brahma Kumaris in Mount Abu, concluded on Sunday.

In this camp, officials from the Department of Law and Justice, Union Ministry, New Delhi, engaged in deep contemplation and brainstorming.

The main objective of this two-day deliberation was to prepare the ministry's vision for a 'Developed India-2047'.

AI is a Challenge, But Not a Replacement for Humans: Meghwal

Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge), Arjun Ram Meghwal, shared his views at the closing ceremony of the camp.

He said, "AI is certainly a challenge, but no one can replace a human being. There is no other alternative to the human brain in the world."

Minister Meghwal emphasized that being born in India is a matter of great fortune in itself.

He stated that this period of Amrit Kaal is the most appropriate and precious time for reforms in India.

The Dream of a Developed India Will Be Realized

The Union Minister said that we must continuously move forward in the direction of making India a developed nation.

He said, "The country's work should move forward, it should not stop. Problems must be solved, only then will the dream of a developed India be realized."

Deliberation on Legal Drafting and Litigation

Minister Meghwal also shed light on the functioning of the ministry. He informed, "Our ministry has a Legal Affairs Department and a Legislative Department."

He further added, "We observe that if small words are not taken care of in drafting, litigation increases. Which word should be placed where is very important."

He also informed that the camp deliberated on how the number of existing lawsuits in the country can be reduced.

Suggestions for Solutions are Welcome

Union Minister Meghwal urged the attendees to offer suggestions for positive solutions.

He said, "If you have a positive solution to any problem, you can give suggestions without hesitation."

He mentioned that necessary changes to old laws were also discussed in the camp.

Need for a Change in Mindset

Meghwal stressed the need for a change in social perspective.

He said, "Today, we do not promote people with sattvic (pious) tendencies in society. If we place people with tamasic (ignorant/dark) tendencies with people of sattvic tendencies, they too will see a positive change."

Emphasizing mental strength, he said that negative thoughts come to everyone's mind, but if the mind is strong, those thoughts go away.

Praise for Brahma Kumaris

The Union Minister praised the Brahma Kumaris institution, saying that the positive energy here is palpable.

He said, "It is the magic of the positive vibrations and positive thoughts of thousands of brothers and sisters here that whoever comes into this aura feels the positive energy and peace."

He quoted Kabir Das's couplet, 'Bura jo dekhan main chala, bura na miliya koy, jo dil khoja aapna, mujhsa bura na koy,' advising to always have good thoughts.

Views of Other Speakers

On this occasion, the Additional General Secretary of the institution, Dr. BK Mrityunjay Bhai, said that the aim of the institution is 'world transformation through self-transformation'.

Law Secretary Dr. Rajeev Mani Tripathi said that efforts will be made to implement the good ideas that emerged from the camp.

Additional Secretary of the Department of Law and Justice, Dr. Manoj Kumar, said that everyone learned a lot by coming here.

At the end of the program, Dr. BK Mrityunjay Bhai honored the Union Minister and all the officials with a memento and a shawl.
