District Collector Mr. Nishant Jain chaired an important review meeting on Monday. In this meeting, he reviewed the progress of 70 budget announcements related to 31 departments and gave necessary instructions to the officials.

Time-bound Implementation of Budget Announcements

The District Collector clarified that ensuring the timely implementation of budget announcements is the top priority of the government.

He said that senior officers of each department should review it regularly and coordinate with the departmental headquarters when necessary.

Mr. Jain emphasized that these announcements are regularly reviewed at a high level, so they should be taken very seriously.

He also asked to pay special attention to quality in construction-related announcements and to dispose of cases related to land allotment in a timely manner.

Target of Zero Pendency on Sampark Portal

Reviewing the cases registered on the Sampark portal, the District Collector said that no case should remain pending under any circumstances.

Calling it the government's top priority, he said that no laxity will be tolerated in this matter.

Action will be taken for negligence

Mr. Jain warned that strict action will be taken against officials who are negligent in their work.

He expressed displeasure over cases pending for more than 30 days and directed them to be disposed of immediately.

He said that the disposal period should be kept to a minimum and the satisfaction level should be increased.

Emphasis on Flagship Schemes and E-filing

During the meeting, the District Collector also took information about the progress of flagship schemes of various departments.

He said that these are all ambitious schemes of the government and their effective implementation should be ensured.

Along with this, he instructed all departments to maintain all their files only through e-mail to ensure transparency and timeliness.

Additional District Collector (Administration) Ummed Singh Ratnu, Assistant Director (Public Services) Suman Sharma, and Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ranjit Bijarania, along with officials from various departments, were present at the meeting.
