Abu Road | A four-day National Conference is being organized by the IT Wing at the Global Auditorium located in the Manmohinivan complex of the Brahma Kumaris institution. Hundreds of IT professionals from across the country are participating in this conference, themed 'Empowering the Self'.
The event includes over four hundred experts, including engineers, AI specialists, and professionals from telecommunications. Its main objective is to make the lives of professionals dealing with workload and stress in the IT field joyful and stress-free.
Empowering the Mind Along with Technology is Crucial
At the inauguration of the conference, the institution's General Secretary, Rajyogi BK Karuna Bhai, expressed his views. He said that today the whole world is rapidly advancing through technology, but it is more important how empowered the person directing the technology is.
He stated, "To increase the capacity of a computer, we constantly install new software and updates, but it is equally necessary to update our minds with positive thoughts and noble values."
BK Karuna Bhai added that if a person has peace, self-confidence, patience, and decision-making power within, they can face any challenge with ease.
Every Soul Has Divine Qualities
On this occasion, the Director of ORC, Rajyogini BK Asha Didi, said that every soul possesses qualities like peace, love, power, knowledge, purity, and bliss.
She explained that these qualities get suppressed due to circumstances and negative impressions. The practice of Rajyoga reconnects us with these fundamental powers. When a person empowers themselves, they do not become a victim of circumstances but rather use them as a medium for positive change.
ORC's motivational trainer, BK Vidhatri Behen, mentioned that professionals working in the IT sector are connected to screens, emails, meetings, and constantly changing information for long hours. This causes the mind, as well as the body, to feel tired.
She explained that the solution to mental fatigue is not just resting, but also providing the right kind of energy to the mind. Senior Rajyoga teacher BK Varsha Didi said that through Rajyoga meditation, detaching oneself from external activities for some time and staying in the remembrance of the Supreme provides new energy to the mind.
Discretion and Values are Important
Senior member of the IT Wing, BK Dilip Bhai, said that technology has brought a revolutionary change in human life. Artificial intelligence and digital technology will influence the future even more.
He emphasized that the more powerful the technology becomes, the more important the values and discretion of the person using it will be. At the event, the IT Wing's headquarters coordinator, BK Yashwant, delivered the welcome speech.
