Trouble for Common Passengers
Cancellation of trains or changes in their operation may cause the most difficulty for those who have booked tickets in advance.
Whether a patient has to reach the hospital, a student has an exam, or an employee has to reach the office on time, the cancellation of the train at the last moment can spoil the entire schedule.
Passengers coming to Delhi from other cities to catch further trains will face trouble.
Those catching buses or flights may also have to reschedule their journey.
Do not wait for information only after reaching the station.
Official Railway Advice
In such a situation, people should not wait to get information only after reaching the station. It is necessary to check the train status from the official website or inquiry service of the Railways before the journey.
If necessary, make alternative travel arrangements in advance. Thousands of passengers are expected to be affected by the cancellation of trains.
Allegations of Stopping Protesters
CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka has claimed that thousands of people associated with party workers and other organizations coming to participate in the protest in Delhi have been detained.
These include student organizations and farmer groups. There is also an allegation of detaining party leader Deepak Balyan in Alwar, Rajasthan, and assaulting him.
Police Version
However, the police have flatly denied the claim of detaining Deepak Balyan. There has been no independent confirmation of these allegations so far.
The administration has clarified that strict steps are being taken to maintain security. Passengers are advised to plan their journey carefully.
