Nepal Floods: Rajasthan Govt Issues Helpline
Jaipur |In view of the devastating floods and natural disaster in Nepal, the Rajasthan government has come on full alert mode. The state government has given top priority to the safety of citizens and pilgrims from Rajasthan who have gone to Nepal for tourism, religious travel, and business.

Considering this serious situation, the state government has issued emergency helpline numbers to provide assistance and quick information.

Government's Swift Action and Helpline

If any citizen of Rajasthan is trapped amidst this natural disaster in Nepal, their relatives can immediately contact the State Emergency Operation Center located in Jaipur.

The main objective of this arrangement is to identify the people of the state stranded in the flood-affected areas as soon as possible. The government aims to provide immediate help by coordinating with the Indian Embassy and local administration to rescue them safely.

Devastating Flood Situation

According to information, data has been released after the devastating floods on the Nepal-Tibet border. So far, 163 deaths have been confirmed in this disaster.

As per official reports, more than 750 people are either missing or out of contact, which indicates the severity of the situation.

Crisis for Indian Citizens

A large number of Indian citizens are also among those trapped in this disaster. According to the data, 133 Indian citizens are missing so far. Most of them are pilgrims and tourists of Kailash Mansarovar.

However, the exact number of people from Rajasthan among the missing Indians has not yet been clarified. The main reason for this is the complete collapse of the communication system in Nepal.

Rajasthan Government's Concern

In view of the possibility of many people from Rajasthan being trapped or missing there, the Disaster Management Department of the Rajasthan Government has immediately taken necessary steps.

Nepal's Rasuwa district is famous for its natural beauty and religious sites, where a large number of tourists and devotees from Rajasthan also visit every year. Due to the recent sudden severe floods and landslides, the communication routes and local infrastructure there have been badly affected.

Chief Minister Takes Cognizance

Seeing the deteriorating situation in Nepal, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the Disaster Management Department have taken immediate cognizance. The government's priority is to ensure that no citizen of the state remains there without assistance.

Along with this, the government is also ensuring that their worried relatives get correct and accurate information on time, so that any kind of rumors can be avoided.
