Bikaner | Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) is now moving towards expanding new and job-oriented courses, including cyber awareness. The university administration is emphasizing a modern education system.
Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi stated that 509 colleges and about 4.25 lakh students associated with the university will be connected with modern facilities.
The main objective is to free students from the need to visit the university repeatedly for admission-related tasks. This will save time and resources.
Introduction of New Courses
Modern subjects like cyber awareness will be included.
Special attention will be given to the expansion of job-oriented technical courses.
Technical proficiency and understanding of new subjects will be developed in students.
Development of Sports Facilities and Infrastructure
The VC has included providing better opportunities to sports talent in Bikaner among his priorities. Special efforts will be made in the university campus for this.
Work will be done towards opening a SAI center and developing an indoor sports stadium in the campus. Oxygen Park and other infrastructure will be made active.
Prof. Bishnoi said that he is very conscious of the university's arrangements and believes in working while keeping track of every moment.
Currently, the university has a 'C' grade in NAAC. The VC's goal is to achieve an 'A' grade by strengthening academic and administrative arrangements.
He clearly stated that discipline is his first priority and will remain so. No compromise will be made at any level with studies and a better academic environment.
His emphasis is on developing a system where students, teachers, and affiliated colleges can move forward according to the needs of modern education.
