Farmers across the country are waiting for the 24th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Under this scheme, eligible farmer families receive financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year.
This financial support is transferred directly into bank accounts in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. This means farmers receive an installment every four months.
Four months were completed on the day of Dussehra since the release of the 23rd installment. Because of this, it is expected that the next installment may be released soon.
However, there has been no official announcement regarding the exact release date. It is hoped that the government might deliver this before Diwali.
According to information on the official portal, the 23rd installment was issued on June 20 from Tarakeswar in Hooghly district of West Bengal.
Farmers can review the beneficiary list on the portal to confirm whether they will receive the upcoming installment amount.
Beneficiaries can verify their registration and payment details online using the Know Your Status feature on the official website.
Farmers must verify four essential factors to ensure hassle-free receipt of the upcoming installment.
Completing e-KYC is mandatory to verify beneficiary identity and ensure funds reach the correct account. Three methods are available.
Beneficiaries can verify using OTP on the official portal. Alternatively, they can complete biometric verification at Common Service Centers or State Seva Kendras.
Farmers with smartphones can use face authentication by downloading the PM-KISAN mobile app and Aadhaar Face RD app from Google Play Store.
