These instructions have been issued in reference to the circular dated August 5, 2026, from the Finance Department (Rules Section), Government of Rajasthan. The order clarifies that only eligible retired personnel who comply with the conditions of the notification dated May 19, 2022, can benefit from this option.
The department has clarified that eligible retired employees have been given time until September 30, 2026, to submit their option.
After this specified date, no employee will be given the opportunity to choose the Old Pension Scheme option.
The Directorate has instructed all Joint Directors, District Education Officers, Principals of District Institutes of Education and Training, and departmental examination offices to ensure necessary action in this regard.
