The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre has shared the warning of Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Branch in this regard. Police have asked the public to be careful of the dangers hidden behind these advertisements.
In Rajasthan too, this scam has now reached Jaipur. Police of both states have appealed to the public to remain alert.
On social media platforms like Instagram, various packages like Silver, Gold, and Platinum are being offered. The fees for these packages range from 500 rupees to 6,500 rupees.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Lavina Sinha said that the Social Media Monitoring Cell has identified these suspicious posts. Police are now thoroughly investigating the intention behind these advertisements.

Fraud Attempts in Rajasthan and Jaipur
After Gujarat and Maharashtra, this scam has now reached Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur Police has confirmed receiving several complaints in this regard.

According to Jaipur (West) DCP Prashant Kiran, fraudsters are adopting new methods by taking advantage of the festive season. They collect personal information of people by sending attractive posters and links.

Jaipur (South) DCP Rajarshi Raj said that in some cases, attempts were made to steal data by sending QR codes, phishing links, or APK files.
