'Run for Fit Bikaner' on Aug 29, 11 Players to be Honored
Bikaner |On the occasion of National Sports Day and Major Dhyan Chand's birth anniversary, 'Run for Fit Bikaner' will be organized on August 29. This will be the sixth edition of the event, being held under the joint auspices of the Eklavya Foundation and Krida Bharti Bikaner. The main message of this program is 'Cultured, Drug-free Bikaner'.

'Run for Fit Bikaner' Organization

Eklavya Foundation President Danveer Singh Bhati provided detailed information about the event. He stated that this walkathon is an effort to increase awareness about health and fitness among the people of Bikaner.

Walkathon Route and Objective

The walkathon will start from Dr. Karni Singh Stadium. It will then pass through Kirti Stambh, Municipal Corporation, and Junagarh before concluding at the Collectorate Circle.

Organizers expect thousands of players, sports enthusiasts, and the general public to participate in the event. Demos of various sports will also be presented during this time.

Honoring Players and Poster Release

On this special occasion, 11 outstanding players from Bikaner will be honored with the 'Bikana Gaurav Award' for their contributions. This honor will recognize their achievements in the field of sports.

Recently, the event's poster was released by District Collector Nishant Jain and Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa. About 5,000 people had participated in the event held in the year 2025.

The organizers have appealed to all residents of the city to participate in this program in maximum numbers to strengthen the resolve for a drug-free and healthy Bikaner.
