Sachin Pilot slammed the central government over the NEET scam, demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and accusing them of playing with the youth's future.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress General Secretary Sachin Pilot has seriously accused the central government of playing with the future of the youth. He said that the attitude of the central government on the NEET scam and youth issues is dictatorial.
Pilot's Major Attack on Centre, Demands Resignation
Sachin Pilot has demanded that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should immediately resign from his post, taking responsibility for ruining the dreams of millions of young people.
Pilot said that the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, and the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, are not terrorists.
He said that despite this, they were dragged on the road. He questioned what was wrong if the opposition leaders were holding a peaceful protest at Lok Kalyan Marg?
He demanded that the government should immediately withdraw the FIRs and false cases registered against the protesting students.
'Politics of Hindu-Muslim will not work anymore'
Making an accusation, Pilot said, "We are all with those who are against the policies of this oppressive government."
He said that there is no party, no ideology, or any political party involved in this. He said that there is a lot of time for politics, but today we have to apply balm to the wounds of the students and give confidence to the youth.
He warned that if the youth of this country lose faith in our system, it will create a big crisis for the country.
Pilot said, "The BJP people do not understand this. They think that they will continue to garner votes just by campaigning, giving people slogans, and talking about Hindu-Muslim. This is not going to last long."
He said that such barbarity has been committed against students, innocent people, and girls in the country's capital, right under the nose of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Pilot said that the government will have to leave its arrogance and come down to the ground realities.
He asked where else would Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi sit for a protest if not outside the Prime Minister's residence.
He said that the Prime Minister takes initiative in everything else, but he has maintained silence on such a big issue.
Pilot said that allegations are still being made against Rahul Gandhi, who has fulfilled his moral responsibility. As the leader of the opposition, if he puts forward his demand, the Prime Minister should listen to it.
