Sanchore MLA Threatened, Case Involves Rs 2.43 Crore

Sanchore | Jeevaram Chaudhary, an independent MLA from Sanchore, has been threatened with being 'eliminated' by two individuals. In this regard, the MLA has filed a case against Suresh Chaudhary and Dajaram Chaudhary at the Sanchore police station. The entire dispute is linked to a transaction worth crores of rupees.

Meanwhile, the other party in this matter has also made serious allegations against the MLA. The second party claims that the MLA has occupied their land.

What is the whole matter?

In his report to the police, MLA Jeevaram Chaudhary stated that in 2018, he had lent money to Suresh Chaudhary and Dajaram Chaudhary, residents of Padardi Tetrol, for business purposes.

He mentioned that a sum of Rs 1.20 crore was lent for the 'Micro Steel' business. This amount was given for one year at a monthly interest rate of one percent.

Money Not Returned on Demand

According to the MLA, when he asked for his money back after one year, they neither returned the principal amount nor paid the interest.

Subsequently, the accused proposed to transfer about 60 bighas of agricultural land located in Hothigaon revenue village in the MLA's name against the outstanding amount, but the MLA rejected this proposal.

Agreement Made in Front of Community Members

The MLA stated that after he rejected the proposal, both accused came to him with four respected members of the community. A written agreement was also prepared in the presence of those four witnesses.

It is alleged that despite the agreement, neither the land has been registered nor the borrowed money has been returned to date.

Outstanding Amount Reaches 2.43 Crores with Interest

According to Jeevaram Chaudhary, from January 1, 2018, to July 23, 2026, the principal amount is Rs 1.20 crore and the interest amounts to Rs 1,23,27,600.

Thus, the total outstanding amount has become Rs 2,43,27,600. The MLA says that whenever he asked them to get the registry done, the accused kept procrastinating.

Threatened on WhatsApp Call

The MLA alleged that when he repeatedly insisted on the registry, the accused abused him on a WhatsApp call.

Not only this, but he was also threatened with being 'eliminated'. According to the MLA, Dajaram said that he would sell this land to some miscreant.

Other Party Denies Allegations

In this matter, the other party, Dajaram Chaudhary, has termed all allegations as false. He said, 'I have provided for Jeevaram ji for 25 years while sitting at home. For the past few years, I have been doing my own business.'

Dajaram also stated that he has had no conversation with the MLA for seven years and all the allegations against him are baseless.
