Officials of Ekal Abhiyan have alleged that some anti-religion elements and missionaries are active in Sirohi and surrounding areas.
They claim that these individuals are targeting the local, innocent tribal community.
According to the memorandum, people are being illegally converted through misleading propaganda and various kinds of inducements.
The organization has expressed deep outrage over this.
Expressing its concern, Ekal Abhiyan stated that the tribal community has been an integral part of Sanatan culture for centuries.
The organization said, "Such illegal activities are a direct assault on our traditional, religious, and cultural heritage, causing deep resentment in the local society."
They have described it as a malicious attempt to break the Sanatan culture.
The organization has also provided the administration with a list of areas where these activities are allegedly most rampant.
These include Kaldari village in Shivganj tehsil, and several rural areas in Pindwara tehsil like Thandi Beri, Bhula, Moras, and Isra.
Additionally, areas around Kui, Khara, Bhainsasingh, Deri, and Siyawa in Abu Road are also reported to be affected.
The memorandum also mentions Karoti and its surrounding area in Reodar tehsil.
Ekal Abhiyan has presented some of its main demands to the administration.
1. Ban on activities: Institutions carrying out conversions through inducement and spreading confusion should be identified and immediately banned.
2. Action against culprits: A fair investigation should be conducted and strict legal action taken against those who mislead innocent tribals and disrupt the social fabric.
3. Administrative monitoring: Strict monitoring should be maintained by the administration in sensitive areas to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
Ekal Abhiyan has issued a clear warning to the administration.
If no concrete action is taken in time against these illegal conversion activities, the organization will not remain silent.
The organization has announced that from July 6, 2026, an indefinite sit-in (dharna) will be launched outside the District Collector's office with the entire community.
This warning has further escalated the seriousness of the matter. It now remains to be seen what steps the administration takes on this sensitive issue and how it maintains peace and harmony in the region.
