Understanding the seriousness of the matter, the Superintendent of Police immediately instructed the Deputy to register a case, conduct a medical examination of the child, and arrest the accused teacher.
Former MLA Sanyam Lodha, along with the student and his family, also met with the District Collector. He presented the seriousness of the matter to the District Collector and demanded strict action against the accused teacher and ensuring the safety of children in the school.
Sanyam Lodha said, "A teacher's duty is to give education, values, and security to children, not to commit violence against them. Such an incident with an innocent first-grade child in a government school is a serious question and a stain on the entire education system."
He emphasized that mere formal action is not enough in such cases. Strict legal and departmental action should be taken against the culprit, so that in the future, no teacher dares to commit such an assault on children.
Lodha demanded that the administration conduct a fair investigation into the matter, take strict action against the guilty teacher according to the law, and take necessary steps for the safety of children studying in schools. He said that violence against innocent children will not be accepted at any cost.
