Sirohi |Police have solved a blind murder case that occurred on the night of August 15 in Maval, Abu Road Rico Growth Center, within just 24 hours. The police have arrested the accused in this case from Delhi. The accused had murdered Shaktisingh Rajput, who ran a tea and snack shop, over a money dispute.

Blind Murder Solved in 24 Hours

Under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Pushpendra Rathore, a special team was formed to solve this sensational case. The team was led by Rico Station Officer Laxmansingh Champawat under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Kishoresingh Chauhan and Aburaj Circle Officer Brijeshkumar.

Special Team Gathered Evidence

The police team immediately inspected the crime scene and collected crucial evidence. The FSL team also assisted in the investigation. Additionally, CCTV footage from the crime scene, highway, and surrounding areas was scrutinized. The police analyzed technical data and interrogated several suspects, which led to the identification of the accused.

How the Crime Was Committed

Rico Station Officer Laxmansingh Champawat stated that the accused has been identified as Indrajit Yadav (40), a resident of Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh. He worked as a laborer at the Om Jyoti factory in Maval.

Dispute Over Money

According to the police, on the night of August 15, between 8 and 9 PM, Indrajit went to Shaktisingh's shop to buy something. During this time, an argument broke out between them over money. The dispute escalated to the point where Indrajit started assaulting Shaktisingh and strangled him to death.

Body Thrown in a Drain

After committing the murder, the accused threw Shaktisingh's body into a nearby drain and fled the scene. His intention was to destroy evidence and mislead the police.

Arrested from Delhi

After carrying out the crime, the accused Indrajit Yadav went straight to Abu Road railway station and fled to Delhi by train. However, the police team continuously tracked him through technical means and traced his location to Delhi.

Accused Confessed to the Crime

As soon as the location was traced in Delhi, the accused Indrajit Yadav was apprehended with the help of local RPF and GRP and brought to Abu Road. During intensive police interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime, after which he was arrested. The police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
