Under the 'Mahila Suraksha Sankalp Abhiyan' being conducted across the state on the instructions of the Police Headquarters, a special public awareness program was organized in Bikaner on Wednesday.

As part of this month-long campaign, a public awareness vehicle rally was flagged off from the office of the Inspector General of Police, Bikaner Range.

Launch and Objective of the Campaign

This important rally was jointly flagged off by Inspector General of Police Bikaner Range Omprakash, Deputy Inspector General of Police Shweta Dhankad, and Superintendent of Police Bikaner Mridul Kachhawa.

On this occasion, the officials present highlighted the importance of the campaign. They stated that its main objective is to promote safety-related awareness among women and girls.

Furthermore, the campaign aims to inform women about their legal rights and to create a positive environment for women's safety in society.

Awareness to Reach Across the District

This specially designed awareness vehicle will tour different urban and rural areas of the district.

Through the vehicle, information about women's safety, methods to prevent cybercrime, important helpline numbers, and other rights related to women will be disseminated to the general public.

Effective Implementation of the Campaign

It is noteworthy that the responsibility for the effective operation and supervision of this entire campaign has been given to women IPS officers.

The officer in charge of this campaign for Bikaner district is Shweta Dhankad, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Raj Jaipur.

During the campaign, special awareness activities will also be organized in schools, colleges, public places, and rural areas to reach as many people as possible.
