Bikaner Police's Big Success, 100 Missing Mobiles Recovered
Bikaner | Bikaner Range Police has achieved a major success in a special campaign launched to recover missing mobile phones. Within the last 30 days, the police have recovered more than 100 mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners.

Police's 'Operation Mobile' Successful

This campaign was conducted under the direction of the Inspector General of Police, Bikaner Range, Om Prakash (IPS). The social media cell of the range office carried out this action by effectively using the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal.

The total estimated value of the recovered mobiles is pegged at around Rs 25 lakh 30 thousand. This campaign was carried out across the entire range, including Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, and Churu.

CEIR Portal Becomes a Major Tool

An important aspect of this campaign was that the police recovered not only recently lost phones but also mobiles that were lost up to four years ago.

With the help of modern technology and the CEIR portal, the police team was successful in tracing these phones. This shows how effective the right use of technology can be in crime prevention and recovery of goods.

People Express Gratitude to Police

A program was organized on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, in which Inspector General Om Prakash personally handed over the recovered mobile phones to their owners.

People were delighted to get their precious lost phones back. They praised this effort of the Bikaner Range Police and thanked the entire team.

Superintendent of Police Bikaner Mridul Kachhawa, Assistant Superintendent of Police Anuradha Kalia (IPS), and other senior police officers were also present at the event.

Police Appeal to the Public

Bikaner Range Police has appealed to the general public that if their mobile phone is lost anywhere, they should register a complaint on the CEIR portal without any delay.

By complaining on the portal, the phone can be blocked immediately, which can prevent its misuse and also increases the chances of it being traced.
