Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday unveiled the Ashtadhatu equestrian statue of Veer Shiromani Megho Ji Upadhyay, the founder of Meghasar, in Bikaner.
The statue unveiled by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is dedicated to Veer Shiromani Megho Ji Upadhyay, who is considered the founder of Meghasar.
This statue is specially made from ashtadhatu (an eight-metal alloy) and depicts him riding a horse, symbolizing his valor.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was warmly welcomed by the local public. People expressed their respect by adorning him with a traditional safa (turban) and garlands. A large number of people were present at the event.
Several prominent public representatives also attended the statue unveiling ceremony. Among them was the Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge), Arjun Ram Meghwal.
Additionally, the state government's Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara, MLA Anshuman Singh Bhati, and MLA Jethanand Vyas were also part of the program. Along with these dignitaries, other public representatives and a large number of common people were also present.
