This bizarre incident is from Aheripur village in the Bakewar police station area of Etawah district. A tractor driver named Komal Singh, who lives here, had long wanted to see the world inside a central jail. His desire became so strong that he decided to break the law for it.
To fulfill this obsession, he made a dangerous plan. He arranged for an illegal country-made pistol and two cartridges from somewhere. What he did next left both his family and the police stunned.
On Tuesday, when the police took Komal Singh to the hospital for a medical examination, he revealed his entire story. He stated that he had no dispute with his wife, Sangeeta. He had threatened her with the pistol three days earlier solely to go to jail.
Immediately after scaring his wife, he went straight to the Aheripur police post with the .315 bore pistol and cartridges. There, he handed over the weapon to the police and asked them to arrest him. The police immediately took him into custody for possessing an illegal weapon.
During his medical examination at the hospital, someone recorded a video of him, which is now going viral on social media. In this video, Komal Singh is candidly explaining the reason for his actions.
He said, 'I drive a tractor for gravel and sand, and I am my own boss. I have a .315 bore pistol, and I want to go to jail.'
When asked how he would get out, he said another surprising thing.
If I go to jail, my wife will get me out within six months.
Hearing this, the policemen and hospital staff present there could not stop laughing.

Komal Singh didn't stop there. He further said that on the day he gets out of jail on bail, he will bring a beautiful lehenga for his wife. His confidence and happiness about going to jail astonished everyone. He also mentioned that his driver had committed theft, which is why he had fired him.

Bakewar police station in-charge inspector Vipin Malik provided information on the matter. He said that the accused, Komal Singh, was roaming in the area with a pistol, after which he was arrested.
He stated that an FIR has been registered against the accused under relevant sections, and he was presented in court. The court has sent him to judicial custody, thus fulfilling his wish.
The station in-charge also mentioned that the accused appears to be a drug addict. The police are now conducting a detailed investigation into the matter and are also looking into his background.
