Sirohi police have solved the murder of Saint Triveni Giri Maharaj at Kabbeeshwar Mahadev Temple in Shivganj. Two accused have been arrested due to dispute.
Police investigation has revealed that the ongoing dispute over the temple's Gadi and mutual enmity became the main reason for this heinous murder.
District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Singh Rathore said that Shravan Kumar and Tolaram alias Tulsi Giri have been arrested in the case.
During the month of Shravan, a dispute had occurred between Saint Triveni Giri and Tulsi Giri Maharaj of Koliwada over putting up posters of the Guru.
Apart from this, there was also a sharp argument between the two on the subject of being a Naga Baba, which deepened the enmity.
According to the police, Tulsi Giri had hatched a conspiracy to murder along with Shravan Kumar to take revenge for the insult.
On September 29, 2026, the accused reached Sumerpur by motorcycle and then went to Kabbeeshwar Mahadev Temple through walking paths.
The accused murdered Saint Triveni Giri Maharaj while he was sleeping in the ashram at night and fled from there.
After the murder, the accused searched for valuable items by scattering things in the ashram room, but found nothing.
Ultimately, they escaped with two mobile phones of the saint, one of which has been recovered by the police.
The special team formed under the direction of the SP has succeeded in catching both the accused on the basis of technical evidence.
Police are now investigating other evidence in this case so that every link of the murder can be connected.
