A plot by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to kill former MLA Sanyam Lodha has been revealed. Police have arrested three criminals from Haryana who were conducting recce.
The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) has arrested three suspects from Haryana. The arrested accused include Rahul from Panipat, Suraj Saroha alias Talu, and Hanshu from Sonipat.
All three have been brought to Jodhpur and arrested. Currently, special teams of AGTF and Jodhpur Police are conducting intensive interrogation.
Police investigation has revealed that these three suspects were active in different villages of Sirohi and Pali districts for about a week.
During this time, they stayed in various hotels and dharamshalas. Their main objective was to monitor former MLA Sanyam Lodha's farmhouse located in Shivpuri, Sirohi.
After the recce process was completed, two dangerous shooters were called from Nepal to carry out the murder.
These shooters include Jaskaran Singh alias Karan from Fazilka and Rajinder alias Billa from Abohar. Both carry a reward of 5 lakh rupees each.
Police have recovered a large quantity of weapons based on the shooters' information. The recovered weapons include Jigana and Glock pistols, 36 cartridges, and 4 magazines.
ADG Dinesh MN stated that the three criminals taken into custody were staying in the area for about a week and were constantly conducting recce.
Security agencies came on full alert mode after finding a photo of former MLA Sanyam Lodha with the shooters.
Police immediately increased Lodha's security. Additionally, a large-scale search operation is being conducted in the surrounding areas.
The role of 4-5 other people is also considered suspicious in this case. Police are continuously conducting raids to find them, and the investigation into the enmity angle is ongoing.
Notably, AGTF had arrested shooters Jaskaran and Billa from a hotel in Jodhpur 6 days ago, who are currently on remand.
