Bikaner | Gayatri Rathore, the Principal Secretary of the Medical and Health Department of Rajasthan, visited the historic PBM Hospital in Bikaner. During her visit, she took stock of the various arrangements at the hospital and gave necessary directions for improvement. Emphasis on Solving Administrative Problems
The Principal Secretary stated that concrete steps will be taken to resolve the long-standing administrative problems at PBM Hospital.
She mentioned that these issues will also be discussed with the Chairman of the Rajasthan Medicare Relief Society and the Divisional Commissioner.
Based on this discussion, necessary action will be ensured to make the hospital's functioning more effective and accountable.
Complaints to be Fairly Investigated
During the inspection, complaints such as doctors seeing patients at home and not being regularly present in the outpatient department were also discussed.
On this, Gayatri Rathore clarified that all allegations will first be factually investigated.
"It would not be appropriate to make a decision in any matter without investigation and factual information. The administration will seriously review all complaints."
She said that a conclusion will be reached only after the investigation, and appropriate action will be taken.
