Jaipur: 94 E-Buses to Start Operations from Navratri
Jaipur | Public transport in the capital city of Jaipur is set for a major boost starting from the auspicious occasion of Navratri. Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCTSL) has completed all preparations to roll out its entire fleet of 94 e-buses.

Relief for Passengers During Festive Season

Currently, only 44 e-buses are operational on the city roads. The remaining 50 buses had been waiting to start operations for a long time.

The introduction of these additional buses will provide significant convenience to passengers during the festive season. This step is considered crucial given the increasing crowds in the markets.

RTO Registration Hurdle Cleared

The operation of 50 new buses in the JCTSL fleet was stalled due to pending RTO registration. The department has now successfully completed the registration process for all these buses.

With the registration process complete, there are no legal hurdles left to deploy these buses on the routes. This will strengthen the city's public transport network.

Phased Commencement of Operations

The administration has decided to deploy these 50 new e-buses on the roads in a phased manner starting from the first day of Navratri. This will increase bus availability on major routes.

The operation of these new buses was not started earlier due to Shradh Paksha. They will be dedicated to the service of passengers from the auspicious time of Navratri.
