Shri Ram Katha commenced in Nandgaon, Pathmeda. Dayanandji Shastri stated that Lord Shri Ram's incarnation was for the welfare of cows, Brahmins, gods, and saints.
On the sacred land of Arbudaranya, the nine-day Shri Ram Katha has grandly commenced in Nandgaon, organized by Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda under the 'Shri Surbhi Harihar Chaturmas Aradhana Mahotsav'. This event has created an atmosphere of devotion and enthusiasm throughout the region.
This event is being held with the holy inspiration of Param Shraddheya Gorishi Swami Shri Dattasharanandji Maharajshri.
As part of the Chaturmas sermon series, the narrator of the Katha, Pujya Dayanandji Shastri, began the recitation of the Shri Ram Katha at the Satsang Mandap located in the Dharmacharya Mandapam.
Before the commencement of the Katha, a grand procession was taken out from Datt Chowk to the Katha venue. In this procession, hundreds of mothers and sisters carried the Mangal Kalash, and a large number of devotees and cow enthusiasts participated. The entire atmosphere became devotional with religious chants.
On the first day of the Katha, Pujya Dayanandji Shastri described the circumstances of Lord Shri Ram's incarnation in detail. During this, he particularly highlighted the importance of cow service and cow protection.
He said, "The incarnation of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram was for the welfare of the mother cow, Brahmins, gods, and saints."
Citing the line from the Ramayana, "Vipra, Dhenu, Sur, Sant Hit Leen Manuj Avtar," he also expressed deep concern over the pitiable condition of the mother cow in the present times.
Shastriji further said in his discourse that serving the mother cow pleases the Supreme Being himself. He emphasized that the work of cow service and cow protection is as sacred and important as the work of Lord Shri Ram.
He called upon all the devotees to make cow service an unbreakable resolution in their lives.
