Meanwhile, the monsoon will also remain active in Central India for the next 6-7 days. Moderate to good rainfall is expected in Western Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha.
However, rainfall activities are expected to remain low in most parts of South India for now. The Meteorological Department says that the effect of the monsoon will continue in North-West, Central, and North-East India for the next few days.
