Pali Underbridge Issues to be Resolved After Ex-MLA's Push
Pali | A significant step has been taken towards resolving the problems of the Sarvodaya Nagar railway underbridge, thanks to the initiative of former MLA Gyanchand Parakh. The railway administration, taking the public interest issues raised by Parakh seriously, sent a technical team to the site, leading to an agreement on resolving the problems.

Concerns Raised Over Slow Construction and Technical Flaws

Previously, former MLA Gyanchand Parakh had inspected the underbridge and expressed deep concern over the slow pace of construction work.

Local traders and residents had informed him that the water manholes and sewerage chambers were left about one and a half feet high, which could become a major obstacle for traffic in the future.

Additionally, serious problems such as water leakage from the underbridge walls and the risk of waterlogging during the rainy season were also highlighted.

Railway Administration Assures Solution

The former MLA immediately spoke to the General Manager (GM) of the Railways over the phone and apprised him of the situation.

On the GM's instructions, a railway technical team reached Parakh's residence, where a detailed discussion took place between the two parties. It was decided in the meeting that necessary corrections would be made to the raised manholes and sewerage chambers. Additionally, a wall and a drain will be constructed near the underbridge to prevent waterlogging.

Former MLA Gyanchand Parakh said, "The positive initiative by the railway administration on public interest issues is welcome."

It was also agreed in the meeting that the construction work would be expedited and the underbridge would be opened for public movement as soon as possible. This resolution is expected to bring relief to the traders and general public of Sarvodaya Nagar and the mill area from a long-standing problem.
