Mukhyamantri Shikshit Rajasthan Abhiyan (MSRA)
This action plan will be implemented under the 'Mukhyamantri Shikshit Rajasthan Abhiyan' (MSRA). Its objective is to enhance the learning capacity of students and improve the quality of education in the state's government schools. For this, various educational activities have been made part of the curriculum.
Emphasis on FLN, CCE, and ORF-based Assessment
Special focus will be placed on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) for the development of competencies in students.
Additionally, processes like Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), activity-based teaching, competency-based assessment, and Oral Reading Fluency (ORF) have been made an integral part of the teaching-learning process.
What are the Key Objectives of the Action Plan?
The department has set several important goals to strengthen the foundation of primary education, focusing on the holistic development of students.
Making Knowledge Permanent
A major objective is to make the knowledge acquired by students permanent and effective. For this, a solid action plan will be created and implemented to achieve the goals of FLN.
Making Teaching Interesting
The action plan places special emphasis on making education interesting, joyful, and effective through activity-based teaching, so that children actively participate in the learning process.
Improving Basic Competencies
Special attention will be given to students who are facing difficulties in understanding basic competencies. They will be provided with additional support to bring them up to their class level.
Skill Development for the Future
Developing essential 21st-century skills in children is also an important part of this plan. Additionally, efforts will be made to increase student enrollment and retention in schools.
Proficiency Goals for Class 1 and 2
The academic action plan also clearly defines the NIPUN goals for Class 1 and 2 for the academic session 2026-27.
Goals for Class 1
For Class 1 students, the emphasis is on oral language skills. They will be expected to talk openly and ask questions about their preferences, familiar surroundings, and nearby objects with friends and teachers.
Goals for Class 2
For Class 2 students, the goal is to be able to confidently discuss the printed material available in the classroom.
Holistic Development Beyond the Curriculum
The purpose of this action plan is not just to complete the syllabus, but to develop fundamental competencies, self-confidence, interest in learning, and practical skills in students. The guidelines for Rajasthan school education are giving prominence to activities related to NIPUN, FLN, and the Mukhyamantri Shikshit Rajasthan Abhiyan for the 2026-27 session.
