Bikaner |On the historic occasion of the completion of 150 years of the national songVande Mataram,” the Government of India is organizing a special program, 'Vande Mataram @150'. Under this initiative, group singing of Vande Mataram and an essay competition will be held in government higher secondary schools located at all divisional headquarters of Rajasthan.

Event to be held in two phases

According to the instructions issued by the Directorate of Secondary Education, Bikaner, this program will be completed in two phases.

The third phase of the program will be held between August 7 and 15, 2026, while the fourth phase will run from November 1 to 7, 2026.

When will the program be held in which divisions?

During the third phase, programs will be organized in schools at the divisional headquarters of Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, and Udaipur.

Subsequently, in the remaining divisional headquarters, these programs will be organized in the month of November under the fourth phase.

Essay Competition and Awards

The theme of the essay competition to be held on this occasion has been set as “Vande Mataram: The Immortal Proclamation of Indian Independence.”

The top three winners of the competition at each divisional headquarters will be honored with a certificate and a memento by the Department of Peace and Non-violence, which will be a great encouragement for the students.

Directorate issues instructions

The Directorate of Secondary Education has issued necessary instructions to all Divisional Joint Directors in this regard.

The instructions state that they should ensure the successful organization of these programs in the schools within their jurisdiction and ensure full compliance with the issued guidelines. They have also been asked to give this work the highest priority.
