The 51 lakh cash van robbery in Bikaner has been solved. Police have arrested two bank employees who were the masterminds of the incident.
Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa provided details of the entire case. He stated that the arrested accused have been identified as Vikram Singh, a resident of Charkada, and Shyam Sundar, a resident of Swaroopdesar.
This successful operation was carried out by a special team formed under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) B.L. Meena, Nokha CO Jarnail Singh, and Panchu SHO Ishwar Jangid.
The incident occurred on August 5th, when four armed miscreants arrived in a Bolero vehicle between Sadhuna and Sarunda villages.
The robbers forcibly stopped the cash van and threatened the van's employees with weapons. They then looted the box full of cash and fled the scene. This broad daylight incident had caused a sensation in the entire area.
Immediately after the incident, SP Mridul Kachhawa had expressed suspicion of an insider's involvement in this robbery.
The police proceeded with their investigation in this direction. Based on thorough investigation and analysis of technical evidence, the police's suspicion was confirmed, and the involvement of bank employees became clear.
The police are now actively searching for the other accused involved in this case. Additionally, efforts have been intensified to recover the looted amount of 51 lakh rupees.
