BDA takes major action! Famous Ganesham Resort in Bikaner sealed after High Court stay was vacated.
According to sources, an RTI activist had filed a complaint in this matter, alleging encroachment on government land by the resort.
Following the complaint, the resort owner had obtained a stay from the High Court to avoid legal action, which had halted the BDA's proceedings.
Recently, this stay was vacated by the High Court, clearing the way for the administration to take action.
Immediately after the stay was lifted, District Collector Nishant Jain instructed the BDA to proceed. In the presence of Corporation Commissioner Siddharth Palanichamy and Tehsildar Akanksha Godara, the team reached the spot and completed the process of sealing the resort.
The administration has stated that any form of encroachment on government land will not be tolerated, and strict legal action will be taken against the culprits.
This action has caused a stir among those illegally occupying government lands in the city. This step demonstrates the administration's firm stance against the land mafia and sets a precedent to prevent such encroachments in the future.
