In Bikaner, Congress organized a large public meeting demanding improvements in the medical system.
Bikaner | Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra has launched a strong attack on the state's BJP government in Bikaner. He described the government as a 'government by slip' and said that all ministers are working irresponsibly, causing distress to the public.
Dotasra's Sharp Attack on the Government
Speaking to reporters in Bikaner, Dotasra alleged that the Chief Minister's signature was taken on an MoU, but the state could not get water from Haryana. He also targeted the central government.
Dotasra said that the country's Prime Minister has 'surrendered' and the Home Minister has a communal mindset. He raised serious questions about the functioning of the state government.
In his address, Dotasra made a controversial remark, citing a statement from a minister of a neighboring state.
"Whichever officer comes, he comes 'wearing RSS underwear', but such people will not be spared in Rajasthan under any circumstances."
This statement has sparked a new debate in state politics. He said that officials who work with such an ideology will not be let go.
Questions Raised on Education and Health Systems
Dotasra also criticized the state's education and health systems. He said there is massive mismanagement in hospitals and the health minister is making irresponsible statements.
Questioning the education system, he said that the Education Minister's own children study in private schools. Meanwhile, the Higher Education Minister lacks adequate knowledge of education.
He also alleged that the government is avoiding conducting Panchayat elections and that government ministers are behaving indecently.
Dotasra Uncomfortable on Congress Infighting
When journalists questioned him about internal differences in Congress, Dotasra appeared somewhat uncomfortable. He urged journalists to help Congress in cornering the BJP.
After repeated questions, he said there are no differences between former minister Govind Meghwal and MLA Sushila Dudi. However, he initially seemed confused about the public meeting proposed by Meghwal.
Other Leaders Also Cornered the Government
The public meeting was also addressed by Leader of Opposition Tikaram Juli. The meeting was organized in support of the ongoing protest demanding improvements in the medical system.
Former minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati demanded the restoration of medical facilities. Meanwhile, former minister Govind Meghwal said that demolishing religious sites of the Muslim community in border areas is against the state's culture.
Former minister Dr. B.D. Kalla called the deaths of pregnant women unfortunate and termed it an administrative failure. Several other MLAs and leaders also expressed their views at the meeting.
These statements by Dotasra have raised the political temperature in Rajasthan. His aggressive stance indicates that Congress will intensify its attacks against the government in the coming days.
