Jodhpur | The foundation stone for a world-class model development project has been laid in Jethaniya village of Jodhpur district. Led by the United Global Peace Foundation (UGPF), this project will be developed on 100 bighas of land, aiming to realize the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations at the grassroots level. This initiative could give a new direction to the development of rural India.
A Center for Holistic Development on 100 Bighas
This ambitious project will take shape on approximately 100 bighas of land in Jethaniya village, located near Balesar in the Lohawat assembly constituency of Jodhpur. Its objective is to establish a holistic development center where villagers can access all necessary facilities within a single campus.
Under the project, a modern school, a high-level hospital, and a large sports complex will be constructed. Additionally, public facilities like a Panchayat Bhawan and Patwar Ghar are also proposed to be developed for ease of administrative services.
The project aims not just to build infrastructure but to create an environment that promotes community development and social equality. This model focuses on improving the quality of life in rural areas.
An Initiative to Realize Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The United Global Peace Foundation has designed this project in line with the spirit of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. Its main objective is to promote quality education, better healthcare services, and sustainable rural development.
On the occasion of the project launch, Foundation Chairman Meghraj Singh Royal stated that such models are essential for the holistic development of rural India.
This project can also become a source of inspiration for other regions in the future. Our goal is for citizens to get education, health, and administrative facilities in one place, saving their time and resources.
Many dignitaries, including Vasudev Singh Rathore, Colonel Balbir Singh, Omendra Singh Naruka, and Umrao Singh, were present at the event.
Experts believe that if this project succeeds as planned, it could become a unique model of rural development not only for Rajasthan but for the entire country. This integrated form of education, health, sports, and administrative services will play a crucial role in improving the rural standard of living.
This project is not just a construction work but an effort to pave the way for social and economic progress for future generations. Its successful implementation could change the face of rural India.
