Bikaner: Women Power and Talents Honored at Lahariya Festival

Bikaner: Women Power and Talents Honored at Lahariya Festival
Bikaner |Under the leadership of the Saras Foundation, Janvi Nails Studio organized a grand Lahariya Mahotsav 2026 with the aim of promoting women's self-respect, empowerment, and artistic talents. This event was dedicated to providing a platform for female talents.

Grand Inauguration of the Festival

The event was coordinated by Pinky Sharma, Principal and Chairman of Saras Foundation, and Tajinder Kaur alias Janvi Sony, Founder and Nail Artist of Janvi Nails Studio.

The program was inaugurated by chief guest Pooja Baisa Lunkaransar by cutting the ribbon. The event then proceeded with the worship of Goddess Saraswati.

The program was successfully conducted under the guidance of special guests mountaineer Sushma Bissa and Asha ji.

Honoring Women Power

During the Lahariya Mahotsav, several women were honored for their outstanding contributions in the field of women empowerment.

Among them were Abha Pandey, Jai Shree Banthia, Archana Purohit, Rishika Vyas, Sumitra Sen, Rajkumari Vyas, Kamini Bhojak, Suman Barasa, Geeta Kharkhodia, Mangla Devi, and Sangeeta Maheshwari, among other women.

Talent Showcased in Various Competitions

Various competitions including Nail Art, Mehndi, Dance, and Modeling were organized for the participants at the festival, in which they participated enthusiastically.

Competition Results

Nail Art: Priyanka won first place, Lakshika second, and Purnima third.

Mehndi: Radhika stood first, Varsha second, and Manisha third.

Dance: Purnima secured first place, Divya Bajaj second, and Bhavna Kumawat third.

Modeling: Sunita Songara was first, Kumkum Prajapat second, and Sonakshi Prajapat third.

Cultural Performances Captivated the Audience

Special cultural performances at the event also mesmerized the audience.

Many participants including Khushi Gupta, Balram Panchariya, Titiksha Vyas, Maya Bhati, and Akhil Khan gave brilliant performances. Along with this, a media honor ceremony was also organized, which was appreciated by all.

Art and Handicraft Exhibition

The stall exhibition and Art & Craft gallery were the special attractions of the festival.

Vanshika demonstrated face painting, Dhanpat magnet art, Jyoti boutique art, Sumitra Sen art, Vidya crochet, and Afshan jewelry art.

In addition, other participants including Rajvinder, Ashwini, Krishna, Mamta, Aashiya, Madhu, Purnima, and Rekha also showcased their creative art splendidly.

Presence of Dignitaries

The event saw active participation from many dignitaries and participants including Major Amar Kumar, Kaushalya Nai, Meenakshi Khatri, Dr. Renu, Anuradha Prajapat, Paramjeet Kaur, Meenakshi Kiradu, Rekha, Jyoti, Sanju, Bhavna, Ankita, Mohini Khatri, Shashi, Chandrakanta Chhangani, Basanti Suthar, and Kaushalya Meghwal.

The organizers stated that the objective of the Lahariya Mahotsav is to provide women with a platform to showcase their talent as well as to promote self-respect, self-reliance, and empowerment. Adorned with colorful Lahariya outfits, art, culture, and female talents, this event remained a center of attraction throughout the program.
