Youths Pulled Thakurji's Chariot on Shoulders
A special attraction of Nandotsav was the unwavering devotion of the youth. Enthusiastic young cow devotees circumambulated the entire premises by pulling Thakurji's chariot on their shoulders instead of using bulls.
This enthusiasm and faith of the youth made the atmosphere even more devotional.
On this occasion, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Shri Sadanandji Saraswati Maharaj described in detail the Nandotsav organized at Nand Baba's house. He presented a vivid depiction of Lord Krishna's childhood pastimes, which left the devotees spellbound.
Thousands of devotee mothers and sisters were seen dancing to the hymns of Lord Krishna while performing sankirtan. The entire premises echoed with chants of 'Jai Shri Krishna' and bhajans.
