Boost for Astrology Education
Dandi Swami Shridharanand Saraswati, the operator of Shri Karpatri Swami Dharma Sangh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, described this step by the state government as an excellent initiative.
He stated that the main objective of this scheme is to further strengthen and popularize the study of subjects related to Sanskrit, Vedas, and the Indian knowledge tradition.
Swami Shridharanand Saraswati mentioned that under this scheme, a Jyotish teacher has been appointed at Shri Karpatri Swami Dharma Sangh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya (Veda School), operated by Shri Karpatri Swami Niranjan Dev Tirth Kirti Sansthan Pranyas (Ram Lakshman Bhajanashram) located at Devi Kund Sagar in Bikaner.
He expressed confidence that this appointment will greatly benefit the students. The institution's President, Swami Shri Sarveshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, and Secretary, Swami Shri Shridharanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, expressed their happiness over the appointment of the Jyotish teacher. They conveyed their gratitude to the Rajasthan Sanskrit Academy for this initiative.
Programs Under 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign
The school's manager, Pandit Shankar Dayal Sharma, informed that various patriotic and cultural programs are being organized at the school from August 9 to 17 under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.
He mentioned that the active participation of students is being ensured in these week-long events to further strengthen the spirit of patriotism among them.
According to Vedacharya Vishal Shastri, a special havan and yagya will be organized in this series of programs for the welfare of the nation, happiness, prosperity, and world peace.
Additionally, various cultural programs are being organized, including a Veda recitation competition based on the chanting of Vedic hymns, a Sanskrit quiz focused on scriptures and general knowledge, a patriotic song competition, and a rangoli competition on the theme of Indian culture and patriotism.
A Significant Step Towards Sanskrit Promotion
This scheme is being conducted under the able guidance of V. Sarvan Kumar, Administrator of the Rajasthan Sanskrit Academy, and Dr. Lata Shrimali, its Director.
Its objective is to promote Sanskrit and Vedic knowledge and science throughout the state. The successful conduct of all these programs is being ensured through the active participation of the school management and teachers.
