The monsoon activity has currently weakened in Rajasthan, causing people in most parts of the state to face heat and humidity. Light rain was recorded in some areas on Saturday, but the weather department has not issued any rain alert for any district for Sunday.

Monsoon clouds were also almost absent over Rajasthan in satellite images, indicating that the weather may remain dry for the next few days.

Where did it rain and how much?

According to the data from the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 55 mm was recorded in Sadulpur of Churu district.

Apart from this, Jhunjhunu received 18 mm, while Alwar and Khairthal-Tijara received only 1 mm of rain each. Sri Ganganagar recorded 28 mm and various places in Hanumangarh district recorded rainfall ranging from 3 to 38 mm.

Temperature Rises, Sri Ganganagar Hottest

With the slowing pace of the monsoon, the temperature in the state has started to rise again. On Saturday, Sri Ganganagar was the hottest district in the state with a maximum temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the temperature was recorded at 40.6 degrees in Phalodi and 40 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer. Cities like Bikaner, Barmer, and Jodhpur also experienced intense heat and humidity throughout the day.

Mount Abu Remained the Coolest

During this period of heat, the state's only hill station, Mount Abu, remained the coolest place. The minimum temperature here was recorded at around 18 degrees Celsius, providing some relief to the people.

No Relief Expected Until July 15

According to the weather department's forecast, no rain alert has been issued for any district in the state until July 15.

The department states that monsoon activities will remain weak for the next few days, and there is a strong possibility that the weather will remain dry in most areas.

Sun and Humidity Trouble Jaipur

In the capital city of Jaipur, the weather remained clear throughout the day on Saturday. Although light clouds were present in the sky, the strong sun and humidity troubled the people.

However, a drop of 4.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in the night temperature. The city's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.1 degrees and the minimum at 24.1 degrees Celsius.
