Garbage Pile Under Clean India Poster, Cows Eat Plastic
Mount Abu | The ground reality of the Swachh Bharat Mission in the tourist destination of Mount Abu is shocking. Here, right under the poster of the cleanliness brand ambassador, K. Gupta, there is a pile of garbage, which raises serious questions about the system.

Mockery of the Cleanliness Campaign

The pictures clearly show how the message of cleanliness is being flouted.

Right under the poster that carries the message of the Swachh Bharat Mission, there is a heap of garbage. This scene seems to mock the administration and the sanitation system.

Gross Neglect of Brand Ambassador's Instructions

About 5 months ago, the Rajasthan government appointed K. Gupta as the brand ambassador for the Swachh Bharat Mission.

He held a meeting in Mount Abu and gave strict instructions to the officials to keep a special watch on cleanliness.

He had clearly stated that no dirt should be visible anywhere, from the main roads to the streets and neighborhoods.

But all his instructions are proving to be empty words, and this pile of garbage is living proof of it.

Playing with the Lives of Cattle

Dozens of cows sit on this garbage heap and eat plastic and filth to satisfy their hunger.

This situation not only questions the cleanliness campaign but also proves the claims of 'Gau Mata' (mother cow) protection to be hollow.

Risk of Serious Diseases

According to experts, eating plastic and filth can cause life-threatening diseases like tumors and cancer in the stomachs of cows.

It can also lead to their death. As such, this is a case of serious negligence that is endangering the lives of voiceless animals.

Garbage Situation Throughout the City

This problem is not limited to just one location. Upon touring the entire city, garbage heaps were found in many places.

At these locations too, cattle and other domestic animals were seen eating filth.

This shows that the waste management system in the city has completely collapsed and needs immediate attention.

Municipal Commissioner Assures Action

When Municipal Commissioner Ramkishore Mehta was asked about this matter, he acknowledged the situation.

He stated that he is instructing the jamadar today to inspect the entire city and ensure cleanliness.

Additionally, he said that after lunch, he himself would take a tour of the city to assess the situation.

The commissioner assured that strict action would be taken against the concerned employees wherever deficiencies in the cleaning system are found.
