The long-standing demand for the transfer of third-grade teachers is at the top of the discussion topics. Additionally, various aspects of the new National Education Policy (NEP) will also be deliberated upon.
"This convention will be an important platform to strongly present the problems of the teaching community in an organized manner before the government and administration."
The union's demands include making sports a compulsory subject in schools, ensuring the safety of school premises, especially for girl students, and completely freeing teachers from non-academic duties.
Other Important Issues
The demand to reopen government schools closed in the name of integration will also be raised prominently in the convention. Emphasis will also be placed on completing pending counseling and creating new posts based on enrollment.
Issues such as the creation of a new Vice-Principal cadre and the increasing administrative pressure in schools will also be discussed in detail. A large delegation from Bikaner district, led by District President Anand Pareek, will also depart for the convention on July 4.
Based on the resolutions passed in this grand convention, the organization will decide its future course of action. The goal is to pressure the government to resolve the problems related to teachers and the education system as soon as possible.
