Dr. Shrigopal Goyal described addiction as a serious challenge for society. He mentioned that once a person becomes addicted, it becomes very difficult for them to get out of it.
"Drug addiction adversely affects a person's social, family, and mental health."
He appealed to everyone to actively participate in building a drug-free society. This year's theme was 'Global drug problem: old problems, new challenges and innovative measures'.
