Major action has been taken against teacher recruitment fraud in Jalore. After investigating appointments over the last five years, 15 teachers have been dismissed and 21 suspended for irregularities like cheating, dummy candidates, and fake degrees. 113 teachers are under SOG investigation.

Jalore Teacher Recruitment Scam: 15 Fired, 21 Suspended

Jalore |A major action has been taken regarding the fraud in government teacher recruitment in Jalore. During a thorough investigation of government appointments made in the last five years, several serious irregularities have been exposed, causing a stir in the education department.

Major Irregularities Revealed in Recruitment Process

The investigation has revealed several cases such as cheating, using dummy candidates, using fake degrees, and discrepancies in photos and signatures. Based on these findings, the department has started taking strict measures.

Services of 15 Teachers Terminated

According to departmental records, the services of a total of 15 teachers have been terminated so far for their involvement in this fraud. This action has been taken based on irregularities in various recruitment exams.

Among these, 11 teachers were dismissed after an investigation into the Physical Education Teacher Recruitment-2022. Additionally, the services of 5 more teachers were terminated in cases related to irregularities and cheating in other recruitment exams in the elementary education department.

21 Teachers Suspended, 113 on SOG Radar

In addition to termination, 21 other teachers have also been suspended. 15 teachers from the elementary education department have been suspended in cases related to various recruitment exams.

These include cases related to REET-2021, Sub-Inspector Recruitment-2021, Patwari Exam-2021, Second Grade Teacher Recruitment-2022, and Physical Education Teacher Recruitment-2022.

Currently, 113 third-grade teachers are still under the scanner of the Special Operations Group (SOG). Further action in this matter will be taken after the completion of the SOG investigation and the emergence of facts.
